Basically new player looking for group

Game: D&D 5e/ closed

Group preferred: Online / Face-to-face / either

Experience: New (Haven't played for years)

Location/Timezone: Central time/Wisconsin 

Availability: Friday evenings/Weekend

Preferred role: Player

Game style: Casual, hardcore, roleplay, hack'n'slash (I don't have a preference)

I'm not exactly a DM but I have a small discord server dedicated to D&D that I'm working on building out. I currently have a group of friends on there that I'm in an active campaign on Sunday's with, as well as a few other D&D interested and related friends. We're even working on starting another campaign with one of the other members as the DM in the server itself. If you're interested in joining the server I could send you an invite, even if you don't or can't join the game we're starting it might be a good way to network out and find other players who have or are starting other games you may be able to join. (I know that's essentially what this is too, I just like the idea of something on a bit of a smaller scale, I would just like to expand it a bit beyond what it is at this point.)
