Hey 10 year 30+ aged dnd player looking to play with a new dm for a 5.5 campaign. Looking for primarily game times around 8pm or later but am open to other times so we can hash that out.
Required to use maps such as roll20 etc, theater of the mind is so lazy and boring.
I like making builds around a single idea like retribution damage, one really hard hit, or otherwise building around specific spells etc so looking for dms that don't limit multiclassing beyond stat requirements.
Would also prefer a dm less loose with the rules, for example my last campaign had the dm have a bunch of lizardmen acrobatically leap past my spike growth area like tarzan on a few trees while saying they were jungle lizardmen without a single acrobatics roll, I'm all for rule of cool but that is a bit much so none of those dms please.
I'm more combat oriented than rp so expect my characters to be itching for fights, at least within reason. I won't pick a fight with a silver dragon at level 6.
I'm pretty laid back and sarcastic so I'm more than happy with following along other players in their main character moments and such while ribbing them along the way.
Either respond here or add me on discord, I'm smellynerd
