Old player for a new game. PLFG

Hello everyone, I haven't played since 2e and I am looking to get back into the game via 5e. I primarily DMed for my group back in the day but am looking to get in to playing this time around so here goes:

Preferred time is weekends after 9pm est. But if not running to late can make exception during the week.

Looking to play a rogue or casting class

Prefer to play with a newer group but if some vets have the patience and dont mind showing this old man how the new mechanics work I'm here for it. I do own the 2014 version of the players handbook and a few other source books so do have a general idea of how to play I just haven't found a group yet.

Prefer online play as well. Group style really doesn't matter im comfortable with serious roleplaying or a more relaxed style and anything in-between.
