New & Experienced duo looking for a campaign

My friend (31) and I (28) are looking for a regular D&D campaign to join together.

I'm based in the UK and they're in California, so we're hoping to find a game that's reasonably kind to both time zones (BST afternoons/evenings work well for me and we're pretty flexible on the day).

As for experience levels, I'm relatively new to D&D and currently playing in my first campaign. Conveniently, said friend is the DM for that game, so they're having to put up with my questions and occasional questionable decision making. They're very experienced though and have been playing for years and I promise to divert most of my questions to their in dms when playing.

We're looking to branch out and join a campaign together as players. We enjoy roleplay, character development and getting invested in the story. A good mix of RP and combat would be ideal, though we'd definitely be interested in more lore/rp-heavy campaigns too.

We're friendly, reliable, quetionable at rolling dice and can promise at least a moderate amount of chaos.

Hi, if youre open to paid games, i have an ongoing game (5 sessions in) that has 3 seats open out of 6. Its a Hex Crawl that will have kingdom building elements to it.

We play Fridays from 8:30 am PST for about 4 hours. 

If that doesnt work im open to trying to start up another group any day of the week other than sundays.
