Looking for a group to play dnd (Ideally one about to start or recently stared)

Hi, my name is Nathan, I like dnd as I'm sure most of you do as well. I took a break form dnd a while back, but now I'm ready to get back into DnD and meet new people, but need a group to join, ideally one about to start a campaign or a group early into one and fantasy themed. I just want something simple to get back into the swing of things.

If you are a DM/GM or know one who is looking for players, please let me know, and we can talk more.

Edit: something I forgot to mention is that I'm looking for a free game and that my time zone is EST.

If you might be up for a paid game, I'm starting up The Crooked Moon, the folk horror adventure, on Friday nights, 8-11pm Central US time. We use discord for voice and dndbeyond for character sheets and maps. I'm always new player (and returning player) friendly!

I am dming a game with some of my friends if you want to join. It is set in faerun and they are currently level 3 and have just finished the death at sunset campaign. We are all beginners and will be doing a Homebrew of a colosseum type adventure due to the enjoyment with fight mechanics. It is 5.5e and I have  extras that I am sharing with the group.
