Game: D&D 5e/2024 Group type: Online Experience: 11 years, Dm for 9 years Location/Timezone: EST US/CAN Schedule: Wednesday 8pm-12am (days and times are adjustable) Roles sought: 1 Player character Game style: Mix of RP, combat, problem solving and exploring!
We are in progress with a homebrew campaign in the world of Exandria (34 years post end of C3 of Critical Role). We are seeking 1 player to join our weekly game.
Minimum requirements are being able to commit (with exceptions) every week, and must have a fun/chill attitude while respecting everyone at the table.
If this sounds good for you, feel free to reply here or DM me directly. Cheers!
Hey! This sounds potentially like a good fit. I’m an experienced 33-year-old player looking for a 2024 5e game with a fun/chill table, and Wednesday nights could work for me. I’m CST, so 8 PM–12 AM EST would be 7–11 PM my time, which is doable.
A little about me: I enjoy tactical combat, dungeon-crawling, teamwork, and character builds with interesting mechanics. I like optimization, but I’m not trying to break the game or make the DM regret inviting me. I also enjoy roleplay and character moments, but I’m not looking to dominate scenes or turn every moment into my personal monologue.
A couple quick questions to make sure I’d be a good fit:
What level is the party currently?
What VTT do you use, and do you use battlemaps/tokens for combat? I’m very visual, so theater of the mind can be hard for me to follow.
How combat-heavy/tactical is the campaign overall?
What’s the current party composition?
How familiar with Critical Role/Exandria do you expect a new player to be?
Are there any major homebrew rules or character creation restrictions?
I’m looking for a kind, communicative table with good vibes, challenging combat, and people who can laugh when things go sideways. If that lines up with your group, I’d love to hear more.
Hello! This campaign sounds like fun! I'm a big fan of Exandria, and have been playing dnd for 5 years now, so I know my way around the d20.
For the most part, I can commit to a Wednesday game, I'm PST so these hours work fine for me, but I'm always sure to let my DM's know in advance if I'm going to be absent.
I enjoy all the aspects of dnd: exploration, rp, combat, etc. So a mix of all of them is fantastic for me.
Don't have many questions, but what I'd like to know ahead of time is this:
What level/composition is the current party?
Any major homebrew mechanics or deviations from 5e 2024?
