Not sure what im doing

I don't know if this is a pay to play site I don't know if this is a free to play sight. All I know is that I would like to play Dungeons & Dragons as a first campaign with a group if somebody out there can let me in their group who's a beginner. I don't know if this requires a subscription please someone let me know the details and I would like to get involved. Also I'm not sure if I created a good character or not so I'm willing to work on that as well to make tune-ups on what I've already created yesterday. Talk to you all soon
