Kobolds! Wererats! Gnomes! Oh my! ----------------------------------------- Hello thrill-seeking adventurers! Before you I offer a story of hidden danger, newfound heroism, and the age-old tale of victory and sacrifice. Rumors stir up and down the Sword Coast that something dangerous has made hearth and home within the snow-capped range of the Sword Mountains. Within the skies of Stormhold Peak, that large something stirs restlessly. Scouts report signs that local orc tribes have hurriedly evacuated the Neverwinter Wood, and even the outskirts of the frontier town of Phandalin are becoming nesting ground for manticore. Built on the ruins of a dream once failed to bear fruit, Phandalin has nonetheless become home to farmers, woodcutters, fur traders, and prospectors all drawn by stories of gold and platinum in the foothills of the Sword Mountain within recent years. Ambitious citizens are becoming more and more unsettled by the increased proclivity to danger. Who will purge the evil that resides within Stormhold Peak, and who will bring about a period of prosperity for the people of Phandalin?
Hi y'all! My name is Roark, and I'm looking for one or two more players to join in on a fun, traditional fantasy, beginner-friendly game with some other like-mindedly kind, keen, & killer nerds. If you're looking for a game with a roughly 65% roleplay to 35% combat ratio, where your decisions may not always seem impactful, but will have an impact down the line, where combat is not a tool for advancing level, but a tool for meaningful, creative, and challenging storytelling, you may have found it! That being said, I am looking for people that are able to share the spotlight, understand the value of patience, and love to approach challenges by collaborating with your friends/team. In the adventure I plan to run, it revolves around a frontier town trying to regain it's former glory. Your characters (for one reason or another), must be motivated to help the town identify and solve the looming threats around it. The adventure starts at level 1 and ends around level 7. Once we finish the adventure I have set up for you, we can discuss extending the campaign & characters, making new characters, or making a new campaign altogether.
If you're still interested... in joining the game, I'd really appreciate you taking the time to comment on this post if a 6-6:30pmCST,weekly game works for you (tell me what days work), your name or alias, if you're over 18 (or any other distinguishing age you'd like to include), your Discordusername, what your idea of a fun table/game looks like or has, & your experience with 2014 D&D 5e. I prefer that character creation is discussed privately, but any further questions are welcome on this thread. Thanks for taking the time to read, and happy gaming!
*I've spent 5 years cumulatively DMing and playing non-official and official D&D 5e products, I've ran Curse of Strahd around six or seven times (loved it every time), and I am absolutely partial to wizards, clerics, and paladins.
I'm interested! 6pm cst weekly works well for me, I'm available weekdays until 10 or 11 (Fridays could go longer). I go by tytorogue on discord and I've been playing DND for about 5 years now and have been dming since January of this year
I’m interested! I’m brand new to dnd tho? Hope that’s okay? I already have a character built ect. Her names Asteria sorrow, my discord is cebe26_41771 and I’m happy to play whenever
I am interested. 6pm cst weekly works for me save Wednesday. Im Dragoon on Discord, over 18, new to dnd. Only really played with one group. I prefer to fight and loot but as long as the group is chill and having fun, then im happy.
First time player here! I’d love to join your campaign. Let’s drive back the threat to Phandalin and bring prosperity back to this frontier town! My discord name is Gadsdenguy97. Over 18. Let me know if you’d like me to join.
I’m interested! The time works well for me. I could make just about any day of the week work until roughly 10pm CST, later on Friday’s or weekends. My Discord name is OzArt_zac. I’ve been playing DnD for several years, off and on since around 2010. For me a good table has a blend of combat and RP so every player has their chance to shine. At least for me I think about mechanically how my character might function in combat, whether they’re defensive or aggressive, magic or martial etc. and what kind of person must they be to interact in that way. How might that play style inform the personality and RP.
Hey this sounds amazing! I think the 65% roleplay 35% combat ratio is perfect. I have a few characters ready to go, we can discuss what the party needs. I'm currently available Mon-Tues evenings and Sundays. discord: dkane204
Hey, this sounds really fun. I have played a few games both online and offline, and I have come to prefer an adventure and role-play. my discord is incompetentgoblin
Hi! My name i Kya, i'm a first time player, but i'm pretty well versed in the "rules" or mechanics of the game. I would really like to play in a campaign! Atm i'm pretty flexible with what days could work, so that isnt really a big deal, i am 19 years, and my discord is vervelim!
