Land of Shackled Knowledge

The kingdom of Mentis's history is known to only those privileged with access to knowledge. The unopposed emperor, worshiped by their gluttonous nobles and mayors, hoard enlightenment, restricting and manipulating the flow of information. The ignorant are loyal and malleable, creating predictable and profitable stagnation. The blessing of their goddess, Erathis, alongside the might of their military, shields the people of Mentis from the dangerous world of beyond…yet few truly know what lies outside the kingdom’s shell. 

 For millennia this is how the world has been, but not even the emperor can snuff out every the spark of progress. What world do you wish to create?

I’m Mage and I’m excited to show you the world I have prepared. My homebrew campaigns are run with 5.5 e 2024 rules on Foundry, where I use custom maps and curated playlists to maximize immersion. The first three sessions are free, afterwards I charge $20 a session. All players are welcome and this is a LGBTQ+ friendly environment with clear boundaries being set during Session 0.

I’ll be starting a new campaign with weekly sessions Monday-Wednesday at around 5-9 PM EST, with a more precise time depending on player preferences. I usually run with 5 players, but would be open to 4 or 6 if needed. The campaign is designed with level 3-20 play in mind for both beginning and veteran players, and while I do have a large emphasis on roleplay and the politics of the world, most sessions will have combat. It’s a dangerous setting, and it wouldn’t be DnD if every encounter could be solved peacefully.
