New Player Looking For Introductory Experience

Availability:  8 pm - 12 am (primarily), no Thursdays

Game style:  Beginner focused, balanced split of 50% combat and 50% social interaction/exploration, serious

I'm new to D&D with very little experience and want to get into the game for the first time.  I'm looking for a beginner friendly group with a focus on teaching new players.  My preferred group size is 4 people (age 21+).  I might be convinced to attempt 5, but 6+ is too many.  I also think I would benefit from a more experienced DM who would be capable of pulling me along as I learn.  As for setting, something in the realm of epic fantasy is ideal while anything comedic or silly would not be a fit.  I'm also seeking something on a weekly basis because my focus, interest and recollection suffers with longer breaks.  Additionally, I have no interest in paid games, homebrew (at least initially) or games which are already in progress due to my lack of experience.  Otherwise, I'm fairly flexible and would be open to discussing any other details in DMs.
