Rusty player looking for group of people to run dnd with. I haven't played in a campaign in a number of years so I would hope it's a new group so I can brush up on memory and math.. lol I'm in PST in the US, Im free most of the time so just let me know when and where.

Hi CopyCatsKiss! I saw that you have played D&D before but have been away from campaigns for several years, and that you would prefer a newly forming group where you can refresh your memory without joining halfway through an established story.

I’m recruiting for The Burden of Fate’s Demand, a new weekly D&D 5e campaign playing Fridays at 5:00 PM Pacific time for approximately 3–4 hours. The campaign has not started, so everyone will be entering the world and building the party together.

Characters are created collaboratively during Session Zero and begin as ordinary people without classes. Their classes and unusual abilities emerge through the opening events. That structure gives everyone time to settle into the group and rediscover the rules rather than expecting players to arrive with optimized characters or extensive current-edition knowledge.

The campaign is an original fantasy mystery with strong roleplay, exploration, supernatural and horror elements, puzzles, consequential decisions, and combat used to advance the story. My approach is flexible and focused more on immersion, creativity, and what makes sense for the characters than on catching people out over forgotten rules.

I want to acknowledge upfront that this is a paid campaign through StartPlaying at $15 USD per player, per session. There are currently four of six seats open.
