Introduction to Dungeons and Dragons

New to Dungeons & Dragons? Join this beginner-friendly three-session introduction designed to teach you everything you need to start playing with confidence!

Sessions will be held on three consecutive Saturdays from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM Eastern Time:

Session 1 — Saturday, July 18
Character Creation & The Basics

Session 2 — Saturday, July 25
Introduction to Combat & Roleplay

Session 3 — Saturday, August 1
Beginner One-Shot & Introduction to Puzzles

During the first session, we will create characters, review character sheets, and learn the basic rules of D&D. The second session will introduce initiative, movement, attacks, spells, ability checks, saving throws, and roleplaying. During the final session, everyone will put what they learned into practice by playing a quick beginner-friendly one-shot featuring exploration, combat, roleplay, teamwork, and puzzles.

Space is limited to only six players, so respond on D&D Beyond as soon as possible for more information and to request a spot.

I check my D&D Beyond messages every day at approximately 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM Eastern Time, so you can expect a response around one of those times.

No previous D&D experience is required. This is a welcoming place to learn, ask questions, make mistakes, meet other players, and have fun. Players should have access to D&D Beyond and be prepared to participate in all three sessions.
