Hey everyone! I'm a brand-new D&D player looking for a friendly group to join for a long-term, weekly campaign.
I'd really like to start with an official D&D module so I can learn the game as it was designed and build a solid foundation. I'm eager to learn, reliable about showing up each week, and excited to roleplay, work as part of a team, and improve as a player.
More than anything, I'm hoping to find a welcoming group where we can have fun, tell a great story together, and make some lasting friendships along the way.
If your group has room for a new player who's enthusiastic and committed, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks for considering me!
PS if you're a new player with similar goals feel free to contact me. The more the merrier
they do say they are looking for a long term campaign with an official module being preferred over a homebrew setting
Yes, they do say that. I allow players to try out my GMing style before committing to a long term campaign (I usually run from L1-L20 which can take 2-4 years). The original poster has joined the game (which is official content with renamed NPCs).
If I wasn't supposed to allow them to play, please let me know.

I'm running a one-shot for beginners next Tuesday while my regular beginners game takes the week off: https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/looking-for-players-groups/241989-beginners-d-d-tuesday-6-30pm-est-5e-2024-online
