I’m currently recruiting for The Burden of Fate’s Demand, a new weekly homebrew D&D campaign. Since you didn’t list a timezone, the schedule is:
• Friday at 8:00 PM ET • Saturday at 1:00 AM UK time • Saturday at 10:00 AM AEST
Sessions normally last approximately 3–4 hours.
The campaign is intended to run long-term and focuses on character development, roleplay, supernatural mystery, exploration, puzzles, meaningful decisions, and story-driven combat. It is a consistent six-player campaign rather than a West Marches or rotating one-shot group, although the atmosphere at the table is meant to remain friendly and relaxed.
Characters are created collaboratively during Session Zero and begin as ordinary people without classes. Their abilities emerge through the opening events, giving the party a shared origin and allowing everyone’s character direction to develop as part of the story.
I should mention that the campaign is listed as D&D 5e rather than as a strictly 5.5e-only game. Since you said 5.5e was preferred “if possible,” you’re welcome to message me through the listing about any specific rules or character options that matter to you before signing up.
This is a paid campaign through StartPlaying at $15 USD per player, per session. It has not started yet, and four of the six seats are currently open.
You can read the full description, see my profile and player reviews, send me questions, or reserve a seat here:

Provided the listed time works for you, your interest in a relaxed but genuinely long-term group sounds like a good match for what I’m building.
