There is no escape from this place. We were never adventurers or fortune seekers to begin with - we were fools. We assumed there will be riches in here, and yes, there are, but that is beside the point now. How many orcs did we kill this week alone? Does anyone remember? Does anyone remember how many days it has been? Feels like an eternity. The place has been built by the dwarves, that we now know, but where did they go? And people here, yes I mean the civilized people like you and me, those who are also trapped in this prison like we are, do you not remember how much they charge for food or basic necessities here? You could live an entire month in Waterdeep for a meal or two down here. Yes, I know we usually find more than we can carry and magical charms that… woman is selling are nothing short of miraculous, but how are we going to spend this money? There is no escape from this place, or is there?...
This is a classic Dungeon Crawl homebrew adventure (5E rules) set in Forgotten Realms, inspired by such modules as Dungeon of the Mad Mage and Rappan Athuk. The PCs are looking for a way to get out of a megadungeon, acquiring wealth and magic items along the way. All characters are currently at level 5 and may potentially reach level 8 at the end of the adventure. Gold substitutes the XP for level advancement, which in turn incentivizes the players to look for hidden treasures.
As a DM with 9 years of experience, I am looking for 2 more players to bolster my existing group.
I use a combination of Discord (audio-only) and Roll20 in order to play. If interested, please write me a personal message with the following information:
1) If you are over 18 (there is no romance in this campaign, but we occasionally talk about medical services costs and taxes, and want to spare younger individuals from these horrors)
