I'm currently recruiting a dedicated group of players on behalf of the Dungeon Master for a carefully planned Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition Play-by-Post campaign hosted on Discord.
This campaign is designed for players who are looking for a more immersive and structured D&D experience, with a strong focus on storytelling, character development, and meaningful choices that shape the world.
Whether you're completely new to D&D or an experienced adventurer, you're welcome to apply. What matters most is your enthusiasm, creativity, and willingness to engage with the story and the group.

• This campaign is strictly for players aged 18 and over.
• I am not the Dungeon Master. My role is to handle player recruitment and help build the group. The campaign itself will be managed and run by the Dungeon Master.

About the Campaign
The game will be played through Discord in a Play-by-Post format, allowing the story to unfold through detailed written interactions rather than scheduled sessions.
With no fixed session times, players can participate whenever they are available, making it suitable for different schedules and time zones while still maintaining an engaging and consistent adventure.
The campaign will include:

I’m thinking a rogue of somekind but I’d need more information on the world to make a decision on backstory and what not. I’m hoping for a long term play by post game that will allow plenty of roleplay and exploration.

D&D Experience: I have been playing for roughly 3 years in 3 campaigns! Currently in 2 of them as we speak!
Brief Character Concept: I would love to play a bard, if able! The bard would be a runaway from the Red Light District who is trying to find her own path on her own after being feeling trapped for years. (I have a longer back story for this, just putting a brief concept for now! :) )
What experience do I hope to gain?: I am really trying to grow more in my experience of playing! I do well in my campaigns but there is always room for improvement on my end. I also hope to have lots of fun with it, which I'm sure I will!

• My D&D experience: first campaign was a little over a decade ago, been in plenty of campaigns/west marches games since then, both canon and homebrew settings. A couple of them have been asynchronous/play-by-post games, so I have an idea what to expect. Not particularly experienced with 2024 rules, but I'm willing to learn if that comes up.
• My brief character concept: First that comes to mind is a Warforged Eldritch Knight who was built by an inventor who lost his child, left with a final directive before the inventor's passing. By external forces, that directive has recently been violated. He's now on his way to correct that. That said, I have more character concepts than I know what to do with, so I'm happy to play whatever the table needs, especially flexible depending on inclusion/exclusion of expansions like Xanathar's and Tasha's, unofficial content like Valda's, etc, and I always, always, always want to incorporate unique traits of the setting into my character's backstory when I can.
• What kind of experience I'm hoping to have from the campaign: I've been promised deep stories, challenging combat and non-combat encounters, exploration of a living world, and decisions that can leave an impact. That's what I'm here for!
