The Hook
> People do not disappear in Ashmoor. > They are forgotten. > A settlement swallowed by relentless fog, Ashmoor has become ensnared in a living nightmare. Here, memories dissolve, familiar faces fade into strangers, and every unearthed answer reveals a deeper falsehood. Something ancient and patient stirs beneath the cold earth, waiting for a soul to finally recall its name. > Bound together by coincidence—or perhaps a darker design—you are strangers thrust into the gloom. The sole certainty in this desolate place is that escaping Ashmoor will demand far more than simply finding the road back.
What to Expect
Slow-burn gothic horror that prioritizes atmosphere, tension, and dread. Investigative mystery and exploration over traditional dungeon crawling. Character-driven roleplay where your choices carry heavy narrative weight. Psychological tension, unsettling environments, and stark moral dilemmas. High-stakes combat that is rare, perilous, and highly consequential.
Looking For
We are seeking players who crave deep immersion, collaborative storytelling, and the slow unraveling of dark secrets over mindless combat. Your character's history, deepest fears, and moral boundaries will directly shape the unfolding narrative.
If you are ready to step into the fog, please submit the following:
1. Name/Nickname 2. Age (18+ preferred) 3. Pronouns 4. Time Zone 5. D&D Experience 6. Character Concept (A brief 2–3 sentence pitch) 7. Horror Preferences (What elements of horror campaigns thrill you the most?)
5. 7 years, almost daily on discord. Homebrew included. Dming my own campaign once a week as well. Also horror.
6. I think an character who has unknowingly lost a loved one to the fog. Maybe they did something to set things in motion of the unthinkable were to happen.
7. Lore. To understand the why and how it's the best part of any good horror campaign.
