The standard full 50+ session campaign cost is $500, or $10 a three hour session, but I also offer a discounted lump sum payment option of $200 which is a 60% total savings. Complete payment terms and signable DM/Player agreement will be provided before anyone commits.
Far to the north of Etharis lies Valika, a land of black seas, frozen mountains, hungry monsters, and warring clans that survive through axe, oath, fire, and blood.
In Grim Hollow: A Saga of Frost & Blood, the players will become warriors, hunters, raiders, outcasts, spellcasters, or survivors bound to a struggling Valikan clan. Together, they must guide their people through one brutal year in the frozen north while confronting rival clans, ancient legends, supernatural horrors, and things buried beneath the ice that should never have awakened.
Spring brings fragile hope. Summer calls the longships to war. Autumn demands that the dead be honored and the living prepare. Winter does not forgive.
This is a private homebrew campaign set within the dark fantasy world of Grim Hollow rather than a straight module run. Player choices and character backstories will help shape the clan, its allies, its enemies, and ultimately whether it survives the coming winter.
Players can expect:
Longship raids and dangerous expeditions across the frozen north
Clan politics, blood feuds, sacred oaths, and difficult decisions
Monster hunts inspired by Norse folklore and Grim Hollow horror
Rune magic, ancient ruins, and supernatural mysteries
Harsh journeys where preparation and survival matter
Tactical combat supported by miniatures, terrain, and digital maps
Character focused storytelling with lasting consequences
A full Session Zero covering character creation, campaign expectations, house rules, boundaries, and connections to the setting
The campaign will carry a serious and atmospheric tone, but there will still be room for humor, friendship, heroic victories, and the quieter moments that make a party feel like a true clan. Newer players are welcome, and I will gladly help with D&D Beyond, character creation, and learning the rules.
If you are interested, reply to this thread or message me with a little about your D&D experience, the kinds of characters you enjoy playing, and what you would most like to experience in a dark Viking fantasy campaign.

The longships are waiting. The fires are fading. Will your saga be remembered or buried beneath the snow?
