All members of the party are invited to a large museum unveiling an ancient relic they discovered. They don’t know what it does, but they know it holds very powerful magic

Whether ur character is there with a formal invite, has stolen someone else's, or has just flat out broken in is up you, but you should know that most of the people who got invites are either mages, scholars, or aristocrats

Btw if it's not clear from the set up this is high fantasy

Also I wasn't expecting to get 13 players in one day

I'm not gonna schedule it until I figure out it works

in my experience online campaigns usually have sessions over voice chats, from there you can either use theatre of the mind or one of many virtual table top options for maps/ mini's
