The continent of Ansalon has seen better times. Since the great Cataclysm split the land and shattered civilization, the world has somewhat recovered, but the scars remain.
Tales that the gods turned their backs on the races of Krynn after that great upheaval have faded over time, but that absence still echoes across all walks of life centuries later. A fragile peace across the lands prop up stability, but there are murmurs of war whispered about in dark corners of taverns and in council chambers of the elite.
This campaign is set during the early days of the legendary War of the Lance (parallel to the classic Dragonlance Chronicles). The story takes place on the continent of Ansalon, mainly in the nation of Solamnia.
