Albion is in need of one more hero to strengthen the forces of Go(o)d.
Following the Bright Age and the demise of the Babylonian empire which ushered in a post apocalyptic age, Albion recovered, even prospered and became a land of milk and honey.
But evil never truly rests.
Your past has seen and judged your actions as less than lawful. Or perhaps you're simply unlucky from birth.
Now, you will be part of His Royal Majesty's Inquisition. Your assignment: Patients Zero. The group that is seemingly always in the thick of things. Join them in their fight as they seek redemption and if at all possible, save the world while they're at it. Come join the fight against the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse and their deviant masters.

Not all subclasses are available, in order to fit the undertones of the main themes.

Spells that create food/water or light are not on the table, to facilitate the survival pillar and story beats.
To facilitate the survival pillar, we track food/water and inventory management.
DM inspiration:
Influences: Tolkien, Arthurian Legend, Warhammer40k, Christianity.
Books: Divine Comedy, Goethe's Faust: Parts I and II.
Fairy tales such as : The Last Unicorn, Canterbury Tales, Aesop's Fables.

What kind of player are you looking for?
Ideally someone around 30, but maturity does not equal age so that is by no means a must. What is a must however is that you're stout of heart and quick of tongue. Someone who pays attention. We fully recognise that someone might be shy at the start, but if your intention is to sit there and only speak when spoken to, that is not what we're after.
This campaign is not a good fit for players who want to explore modern political themes or identity-focused roleplay. The table prioritizes traditional fantasy immersion and character actions over real-world discourse. This goes for both OoC and IC.
What kind of group/table are you?
Long term friends from all over the world. While we are friendly, our humour can be seen as 'dark' and definitely not for the faint hearted. We have a long term game running for over 4 years, often have one shots and other small campaigns.
I like the idea but I can't make that day/time. Could you play on *insert day* instead or start an hour later?
No. We respect everyone's time/ dedication at the table so far and no changes will be made.
Why is it so restricted?
Because the game is a traditional fantasy style game.
Why is it 18+?
The themes hit pretty hard and the imagery can be extremely graphic.
So what do you offer?
A bunch of nerdy friends, good sense of humour, steady sessions, a very highly enthusiastic DM with a devious mind and no end of ideas, a dedicated note taker.
