About
I've played on and off for about 8 years, and I have recently started homebrewing a steamboat murder mystery campaign for fun. Players would start at anywhere from Lvl 5 to Lvl 8 depending on the number of players willing to run it with me. I'd really love to run it with a group, and if you're into the setting and vibe, the ending does have the potential to transition to a full campaign. I've never run this campaign before, so I'm not sure about run time. It's a short campaign, but I feel like this has the potential to run anywhere between 2-4 3hr sessions depending on how good the group is with mysteries and puzzles.
As a DM, I am fairly lax in regard to rules. For example, in combat, I don't tend to strictly track travel distance. If your close to the monster, you can hit it. I just keep track of roughly about where you are. I also have the general rule of thumb that you can try anything (within the pre-established boundaries the players set up beforehand), there are natural consequences for those actions. Your bard can roll to seduce the 20ft dragon, but if you succeed, I will be rolling for damage against you. If you want to do or have something outside of standard rules, run it by me, and if its fun and not story breaking, I'll probably allow it.
I'm open to groups who want a DM for a short campaign or individuals looking for a campaign.
If you want more details, feel free to reach out!
PS - I am an adult and prefer to play with 18+ players.

Hihi! I'd be interested in being part of this game. Do you have a discord or somewhere else I can contact you?
Sounds great! How do we to get this together? Discord and D&D Beyond?
Hey!
I'm allyj6649 on Discord if you want to reach out that way!
I'm allyj6649 on Discord. Probably wouldn't use D&D Beyond for sessions because I'm honestly just too cheap to pay for it and only use the free lol.
I'm thinking potentially doing a weeknight evening for the campaign just so as not to disrupt anyone's weekend plans.
Hi im interested but im somewhat new to dnd as ive only played a few one shots.
