Looking for 2 Beginner Players for Saturday Game

Hey all!

Me and a friend are looking for two people to join a Saturday D&D campaign — we might even kick things off this Saturday!

We’re mainly hoping for beginners or people who haven’t played much before. The reason is pretty simple: I’m still learning as a DM, and in past games I’ve had some very experienced DMs jump in, correct me mid‑session, or try to steer things their way. It wasn’t fun, and it made it hard to actually learn.

I totally respect that everyone has their own DM style, and I’m always open to chatting ideas — but during the session, I just want to keep things moving without debates or comparisons to someone else’s campaign. My friend is also a beginner, so we’re hoping to find two players who want to grow with us and enjoy learning together.

A few quick details:

• Schedule: Saturdays around 5 PM Mountain Time (MT)

• Start date: Aiming for August 8th (this Saturday)

• Frequency: Weekly — might switch to bi‑weekly if prep time gets tight

• Modules: Starting with Lost Mine of Phandelver, then moving to another module later

• Homebrew: Items, classes, and races are welcome — just keep them balanced

• Attendance: If you can’t make a session, no worries — two players is plenty to keep things rolling
