I’ve been running weekly / biweekly one-on-one games for a few years, on and off. Just wrapped up one of the campaigns and the player is moving on from D&D, so it’s time to find a new player (or couple)!
If we’re playing D&D, I’d prefer 5.5e (2024), but can be flexible. Other game systems are available too - always love to learn a new one!
A major advantage of 1-2 player games is that the main plot IS your character’s story. Whatever character idea you have, that’s what the campaign will be about!(You also don’t need to worry about scheduling, problem players, or churn!)
If this has given you a reason to try it out, please post below with: - Who you are - What you want to play (could be a character concept, a world concept, or a simple “Dealer’s choice”) - Your availability (make sure to include your timezone! I’m GMT.)
Games can be in person (SE UK), online (discord & VTT), or PBP (any instant messenger). Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hey my name is Jason or Jay. I'm 35. I live in Ireland, and I'm looking to find a campaign for me and my friend. Preferably on a Thursday or Friday. My name on Discord is jayokay.
I've been playing D&D since lockdown but I've loved it for years before that ever hit. Making a fun character, fitting them into a world, exploring their stories and the stories of the friends they make along the way are just some of my absolute favourite things. I'm not a power gamer, but I do like to make competent builds so as to not weigh down the party. I have a very good mic and headphones, I am well spoken, and I enjoy having creative and fun playtime with other creative and fun people.
A lot of the above can pretty much be copy and pasted for my friend, Sam. Except she has been playing and DM'ing even longer than me, and expanded knowledge of certain settings. We also really enjoy making matching pairs of characters that contrast and compliment each other in fun and interesting ways.
While I live in Ireland GMT+1, Sam lives in Florida GMT-5. But we are both night owls and tend to be up at all kinds of times so I'm sure we could find a time slot that works for all of us.
If we sound like the kind of people you're looking for then please hit me up whenever you wish.
