I'm looking to put together a new group for a long-term D&D campaign, and I want to do something a little different when it comes to choosing the campaign itself.
Rather than recruiting players for a setting I've already decided on, I have three different homebrew campaign settings/premises that I would love to run. Once the group is formed, we'll have a pre-campaign discussion, I'll properly introduce all three options, and we'll choose together which campaign sounds the most fun for the group.
So you're not signing up for one particular setting, you're signing up to help choose the adventure we want to play together.
What I'm Looking For:
- Players who enjoy roleplay and combat rather than only one or the other.
- Like getting invested in the world and the other player characters.
- Are comfortable with a mixture of serious storylines, character moments, humor and ridiculous D&D chaos.
- Want a campaign where character backstories can become part of the larger world and story.
- Are interested in something long-term if the group works well together.
Newer players are also welcome as long as you're willing to learn.
System: D&D 5e/5.5e
Campaign: Homebrew
Starting Level: To be decided depending on the campaign chosen
Day: To be decided together (most likely on the weekend)
Timezone: I am in GMT+2/CEST timezone
Frequency: Weekly
Platform: Discord / D&D Beyond / Roll20
Voice: Discord
Group Size: 4-6 players
If this sounds like your kind of game, reply here or send me a message with a little about yourself:
- What should I call you?
- Age?
- Time zone?
- How much D&D/TTRPG experience do you have? (None is also completely fine.)
- What parts of D&D do you enjoy most?
- What kind of character/player are you usually?
- What are you looking for from a long-term campaign/group?
If we get the right group together, we'll decide what world we want to step into.
5. I really enjoy creating characters and witnessing the stories other people make regarding their characters and worlds.
6. The kind of characters i usually play are usually frontliners and I enjoy facing whatever surprises the DM has for us. I also really enjoy pulling off feats as a team and overcoming the challenges together.
7. I'm mostly looking for dynamics between the players that make the game feel alive.

played in the 80s and 90s... then started back up a few years ago
I've always enjoyed creating characters, especially their backgrounds
Interaction and sometimes sitting back to enjoy "their story" unfolding in the game
Typically, I'm more of a frontline melee type... fighter, barbarian... curious about casters, though
I am only available Tuesdays-Thursdays 8am-1:30pm, EST...
Additionally, I really enjoy new players, helping them but also when they learn how much they love it
