Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: face-to-face would be AWESOME but online is cool too!! Experience: VERY new Location/Timezone: timezone is EST -- hudson valley area of ny for physical games Availability: weeknights approx. 6 - 10 pm EST and weekends all day Preferred role: player Game style: since i am so new i'd definitely like something more casual, though i'd be down for a longer campaign too. i prefer things that lean more heavily towards storytelling/rping and less towards the combat side of things
i have a couple different ideas for characters, my most fleshed-out character right now is a rogue tiefling, but i love making new characters as well so i can do whatever works!! i have discord and roll20 and am a quick learner and i hope i can play my first game soon (:
ETA: just wanted to make a note that while i haven't played dnd before i do a lot of text-based roleplay and have been very passionate about it for over a decade so i'm super familiar with that side of things!!
Well, although you said you weren't into the heavy battle stuff, we still have places for you in our campaign. We are an online PBP forum we play by posting messages on a single board. We also have a chatbox where you can chat with other players. We are an ongoing campaign but we can always put new players in at any time. Most of the game is storytelling, we do have a lot of battles, but there are areas where a non fighter can be placed in the story. It would be nice if we had a KIng or Queen that could take control and develope some of the other lands that are not developed yet. Come on over if you don't mind playing PBP. We have a friendly atmosphere and a very nice DM. Membership is fast and easy, then once a member, all you have to do is create your character, submit it to the DM with a backstory(very important) and she will drop you into the game. We have a dice roll system onine, we even have a NPC system for those who want to use some NPCs. We use the 5e system and we are now fully functional with a few little mods added.
