Avalor is a growing city that managed to survive the madness of a post-appoctalyptic world ravaged by rifts. Riftborn and locals alike have come together to defend this last bastion of civilization, and together they have brought great variety and prosperity to the small city state. But while times are calm and steady at the moment... all it takes is one bad rift to threaten the whole delicate balance of the last city!

That's where you come in. For whatever reason you find yourself in Avalor, your Player Character has taken on the role of Rifter within the Rifter's Guild. Whether for pride, honour, greed, or perhaps something deeper; these mercenaries are called forth when able-bodied and sharp-witted adventurers required.

But perhaps I have you wrong, perhaps you want more out of this westmarch? The worlds that briefly touch upon this peaceful pocket kingdom are many and seemingly quite random... but sometimes a deeper plot is afoot and a rhyme or reason for a string of rifts is developing... Whether a mystery beginning to unravel, a drama for the ages, or a call to action to prevent atrocity; The players of Avalor are hungry for a good story or a fun skirmish through the multiverse. If you aspire to take the role of the story-teller, we have offer support in learning to design and run encounters and scenarios. We have a very flexible and rewarding system for making and telling a story, with incentives to engage the curious minds of our community!

Quick Info:
- Start at Level 3 with 2 potions of healing and 1 uncommon item. Server Boosters can start as high as lvl 6 and get greater potions of healing instead.
- New DMs Encouraged: Learn the ropes in a supportive, experienced environment. Be rewarded for weaving a connected narrative and summarizing for the community.
- All Styles Welcome: RP-heavy? Combat-centered? Somewhere in between or off to the side? Join our mish-mash of tones and styles and see how characters get along, it all hinges on you! Come pull up a keyboard!
- Both Async/ Sync styles supported; plan active sessions and run a Rift in 1-3 hours, or set the pace on a larger scale. Communication is key but both pbp playstyles are welcome here.
