The brutal Hound Demon, once the cheerful daughter of the mayor, lies before you, gravely wounded. Through her blood and tears she hisses at you, cursing you, forcing herself to raise her knife one last time.

She doesn't stand a chance.

You strike. But she does not die — you won't allow that. You purify her body and liberate her soul.

"… thank you," her voice whispers.

Now she can rest. You can't rest yet. You take her with you, and move on.

Demon by demon. Vessel by vessel. Until you liberate the Demon King himself.

Every demon in this world is a person someone lost. Defeat them, free them, and inherit their bodies — they join your roster of playable characters, alongside the one you make yourself. No permadeath. Homebrew open world: mystery-solving, social play, heists, competitions, and puzzles, with NPCs who act on real motivations and faction allegiances.
