The Erie Problem (Mid-Length Camapign)

A quick note about character creation
Given this campaign starts and partly exists in a non-magic modern world, character creation will look a bit different. Instead of picking a class, subclass, and ancestries then rolling for stats and building your starting gear, you will begin by creating characters that exist solely in the real world. Human beings with average backstories, hobbies, and jobs. After you have your base character we'll roll for ability scores as normal (4d6, drop lowest) and you will apply them to the standard dnd ability stats, those will be your real world stats to roll checks in the real world. Once you have your characters, you'll give me your dream builds. You can either give me the class, subclass, ancestry, and background; give me a couple options of each; or go in completely blind and let my chose everything. I will build your character sheets and you'll get them while we're in the "dark world" as that's the only time your characters will have access to their fantasy setting magic and abilities. This'll be your character's first time in the fantasy world, and so it'll be yours as well. Be warned though, things you do in the real world do matter, and so be careful with what you do and what things you find. :)
