I'm new, I wanna learn how to play.

Heyyy! So I'm basically new to the whole Dungeons & Dragons thing. I've always been interested and I have a character that I've made (never used it, don't understand the stats on it) but I don't know how to play...I wanna learn, though! I also need to find people to play with- either Online or in person close to where I am (Denton) since I'm a college student who just wants to explore her interests some more! I don't really wanna play with people who take it extremely seriously because I feel like I'd be treated like I'm dumb for not knowing things, so I wanna play with people who are chill and maybe who are also new. Basically, I wanna be with a group where we're all learning together- so like I wanna play with people who have just started a game or it's still really early on.

Does that make sense??? Someone let me know PLEASEEE 😭🙏🏼

Also it wouldn't just be me, it would be my roommate AND me since she and I are basically in the same boat when it comes to this. Only difference is she doesn't have a character and she's never made on...so we're gonna make some together later today. (I'm making a new character for this.)
