Waterdeep: Dragon Heist into Dungeon of the Mad Mage

Adults only—new and experienced players welcome.

I’m an experienced DM looking for players to begin Waterdeep: Dragon Heist, an urban adventure filled with mystery, rival factions, colorful characters, and a fortune in stolen gold.

We’ll play weekly using Foundry VTT and Discord, with detailed maps, character artwork, music, and atmospheric visuals bringing Waterdeep to life.

After Dragon Heist, players will have the opportunity to descend beneath the city in Dungeon of the Mad Mage—an enormous campaign spanning levels 5–20. Each level of Undermountain offers new factions, mysteries, environments, and dangers under the watchful eye of the legendary wizard Halaster Blackcloak.

There is no pressure to continue into Dungeon of the Mad Mage. You’re welcome to play Dragon Heist as a complete adventure and decide afterward.

Expect:

• Roleplaying, investigation, exploration, and tactical combat
• A living city filled with allies, enemies, and competing factions
• Detailed Foundry maps, artwork, music, and visual aids
• Meaningful decisions and plenty of player freedom
• A long-term campaign opportunity for the right group

I’m looking for reliable adults who arrive on time, communicate when something comes up, support their fellow players, and leave real-world political and religious arguments away from the table.
