Game: D&D 5.5e 2024 Group preferred: Online Experience: Veteran — played AD&D 1e/2e and D&D 5e since 2018 Location/Timezone: Eastern Time (ET), USA Availability: Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday evenings, starting at 7 PM ET or later Preferred role: Player Game style: Looking for a weekly, long-running, high-level campaign, ideally something like Arcana Unleashed: Deadfall. I enjoy a good mix of combat, roleplay, and exploration, with a preference for sandbox-style games and meaningful player agency. I generally prefer official published material and 2024 rules and would rather avoid heavily homebrewed campaigns or rulesets. Comfortable with D&D Beyond, Roll20, or Foundry.
I've got a game that I've been running for a while that you might be interested in.
Game: D&D 5e (although I've allowed some 5.5e with recent players) Campaign title: Return of the Dragons DM Name: Ferox (myself) but I go by therevanchist05 on Discord Group preferred: Online on Discord with D&D Beyond and/or Roll20 for character sheets, maps, and dice rolling. Experience: player experience requirements are a few years and/or veteran, 21+ years old or older, and looking to play an extended campaign (Lvl 17 or above) Location/Timezone: Weekly Wednesdays 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM CST Number of players needed: 1-2 Game style: Epic style narrative, high fantasy, rp heavy with some tactical combat included (tokens, maps, etc.). 60/40 to 70/30 in rp-to-combat ratio. Think Critical Role C1-3. Edition/Rules set: 2014 5e DnD with additional materials and homebrew world, creatures, maps, weapons, etc. DM needs approval *first* Starting level: Level 9 Where to apply: DM me here or reply to this post About your game: My game is entirely homebrew world of my own creation. It has been something that I've been working on for over 5 years, from kingdoms and empires to historical events to wars to races to other planes of existence. But there is still much more to add and even more to uncover. There are numerous locations and varied settings, most of which are inspired from Forgotten Realms lore. There are three continents, a few subcontinents, and numerous island chains. My goal is to collaborate with the party to choose what course of the story to take: whether that is to aid in the continued existence of dragons, including evil ones, or help to destroy them, including the good ones. I am also interested in telling stories of player characters in between the main story. Important information: A pre-game interview and Session 0 is required before playing. Premise: After nearly being wiped out in their war between Chromatics and Metallics thousands of years in the past, dragons have slowly begun to recover their numbers that they had lost, and with it their power and influence. In the kingdom of Eddessia, two dragon eggs have hatched , a silver dragon egg and a bronze dragon egg, but the Cult of Revelation has begun to operate in the open. A secretive cult that is committed to wiping out dragonkind, they have killed indiscriminately and don't care who gets caught in the crossfire. After stopping their latest attempt to poison all of dragonkind within the capital city of Pyra, curing those who were affected, and stopping a demonic incursion under the disguise of an insectoid infestation, the kingdom must turn their attention to one of two efforts: either the recent reports of starry animals of unknown origin gathering large numbers of its kind to disrupt settlements and cities and what that could mean, or to pursue the Cult as they take new strides in eradicating all of dragonkind...
