(Looking for players) Using one shot to vet new players for full campaign

Game: D&D 5e 2014 rules
Group type: Discord play by post
Experience: Any 
Time: 2pm cst oct 20th, and 2pm every tuesday after for those invited to the main server
Roles sought: Any number of players welcome to the one shot, 1-2 sought for full campaign
Game style: RP will be a mix of casual, comedic, serious, and emotional. Encounters typically be hard. There will be risk of death, but I'm not actively trying to kill your character. "Time is limited, get a move on!" mission pacing. 

One shot premise: Hag Hunt. The party is stasked with marching through a swamp that is trapped in perpetual darkness to investigate the cause of the darkness, and see if its related to recent rumors hag sightings and missing children

Campaign premise: Cowboys in Catan. A settlement era campaign with a steampunk/cowboy theme, where the players are settlers on a hostile new island based on a Settler's of Catan map. Players must clear a path so a road can be built from one end to the other of the map before other settlement campaigns arrive.
