Phandalin could use a few good adventurers. Whether you qualify remains to be seen.

You arrive at the beginning of your adventuring career, with a job to do and a reputation still to earn. There’s coin to be made, trouble to investigate, and a frontier town full of people deciding whether you’re worth trusting.

Start at level 1 and grow into a party with a history together: victories you earned, mistakes you survived, and decisions someone will absolutely bring up again. This campaign combines exploration, roleplay, investigation and tactical combat as classic fantasy adventure gradually gives way to creeping horror.

What’s the table like?

I welcome creative solutions and give unusual plans a fair hearing. Talk your way out of trouble, use your surroundings, or commit to a scheme everyone has reservations about. Expect consequences, dry humour, and room to take the story seriously when the moment calls for it.

More than a map and some dice

I support creators including Morvold Press, JB2A, Baileywiki and BLFX to expand the Foundry experience with detailed battlemaps, animated spells and combat effects. Alongside ambient music, sound effects and handouts, these help set the scene as you explore and bring your character’s actions to life.

These extras are included in your session price. You don’t need your own Patreon subscriptions or a Foundry licence to play.

All you’ll need is a computer, an internet connection, a microphone, headphones, and Discord.
