The examiners bane

Hey everyone!

I'm a DM looking for one additional player to join an ongoing D&D 5.5e campaign set in the Forgotten Realms, primarily along the Sword Coast.

We're a friendly group of three players and myself as DM, and we're looking to bring our party back up to four!

A little about the campaign:

This is a long-term, story-driven adventure featuring a mixture of roleplay, exploration, combat, mysteries, political intrigue, and plenty of opportunities for the party to get into trouble.

The campaign begins with relatively small adventures, but the world is much larger than it first appears. Your decisions matter, NPCs remember your actions, and your character's backstory can influence the direction of the story.

I'm planning for the campaign to eventually reach levels 18–20, so there's plenty of adventure ahead!

Current Party:

• Human Monster Hunter

• Fire Genasi Bard (College of Cuisine)

• Firbolg Cleric (Nature Domain)

What we're looking for:

Someone who enjoys collaborative storytelling, gets invested in their character, and wants to be part of a consistent, long-term group.

New players are absolutely welcome! I'm happy to help with character creation, mechanics, and getting comfortable with the game.

We enjoy a healthy balance of serious storytelling, character development, challenging encounters, and the occasional ridiculous moment that leaves everyone laughing.

Campaign Details:

• System: D&D 2024 / 5.5e

• Setting: Forgotten Realms / Sword Coast (with homebrew cities, locations, and storylines)

• Starting Level: 3

• Players: 3 currently, looking for a 4th

• Schedule: [Day, time, and time zone]

• Platform: [Discord / dnd beyond]

• Experience: All experience levels welcome

• Campaign Style: Roleplay, exploration, combat, mysteries, and player-driven storytelling

You don't need to know anything about the existing story to join. I'll work with you to introduce your character naturally and help you get caught up.

If you're interested, send me a message with a little about yourself, your D&D experience (if any), and what kind of character you'd enjoy playing!

Looking forward to finding another adventurer to join the party! ⚔️🐉

Howdy, I am a newer dnd player who's been getting into the game for a while now, I haven't done a lot of campains but i try to keep my co members engaged with me and the story as much as i can, whether it be bankrupting a casino or having fun useless gags like a moss meter that shows how much moss you've eaten. I play a variety of characters, but my favorites are ones who let me have fun with npcs and the party (not in the murder everything way dw).  I can usually play any time during the weekends and during the afternoon on weekdays. Feel free to ask me anything else if you decide to answer this. Happy hunting and good day!
