As you enter this large, majestic tent, the sweet smell of incense and burnt candle wax greets you. The warmth inside comforts you, allowing a brief respite from the biting harsh cold of the Barovian climate.
A Reddish glow of magical light reveals the ancient looking Vistana seer, sitting behind a low table covered with black velvet cloth. Glints of light seem to flash from a crystal ball in the center of it, and surrounding it are a dozen or so cards displaying different symbols.
Madam Eva meets your gaze, bearing a crooked and wrinkly smile, and speaks. Her voice crackles like dry weeds.
"For many years I have foreseen your arrival” she declares, and with one slight motion of her finger the undisturbed cards on top of the table begin to float and hover in the air. Almost out of their own volition, the cards arrange themselves in a mysterious formation around the crystal ball.
After a short moment of silence, reviewing some of the cards, Madam Eva smile disappear “But, I wonder, what is it that calls you to such a place?...Duty? Knowledge? Perhaps something more personal?...Or was it merely fate?. Your journey will take you into the heart of darkness itself, in a land that preys upon its people. You clutch onto steel and faith, but you are far removed from the sight of your gods. Lost in the mist, where only the dead and the forsaken will find you. Seek what you may in this cursed land, but heed my words - you cannot make demands of the devil, for he is the ancient, he is the land, and you... are trespassers.”

Hello to all interested, I hereby invite you to join my heavily modified rendition of Curse of Strahd
A little bit about myself
The Ravenloft setting is one close to my heart. Aside from running this adventure for multiple groups over the past 7 years, I have been a fan of the setting for most of my life - even reading most of the books (I, Strahd, War against Azalin, Knight of the Black Rose, etc.). As such, I take a lot of inspiration from the old material and use it in my game, alongside many other resources I have adopted and created over the years DMing this magnificent adventure.
About the game and style of play
This campaign will take place in the dreaded land of Barovia, where the characters will be looking for a way to defeat the vampire lord Strahd von Zarovich and escape his clutches.
I run a RP heavy, story and narrative driven campaign, which will focus on your characters, the paths you will follow and the decisions you will make.
