Experience: No experience is required, but some would be preferred. Starting at Level 3
Party Amount Sought: 4-5 people
Gaming Style: Casual, but intricate role-play is very welcome!
Meeting Type: In person
Schedule: Preferably once a week on Mondays or Tuesdays (But can meet only once a month if needed). The session will always start at 5 or 6 P.M EST.
Location: Mooresville/Davidson area of North Carolina
Requirements for joining:
You must be over the age of 18 to join. This campaign will inevitably feature heavy/dark themes and mature humor that is not suitable for younger players.
Any living NPC that is part of your backstory and could possibly show up may be subject to death. Do not be alarmed by this, as I will not purposefully kill them unless I think it absolutely serves the story.
No min-maxing
You will have to be okay with letting other players get their moment to shine. You are not always the main character. We don't want a Tiberius Stormwind situation XD.
Be committed. Don't join and leave.
I hate to ask you this, but I need someone with the extended books (Player's Handbook or Tasha's Cauldron of Everything). I have the Master tier subscription (So you don't need that) and the Crooked Moon and Spelljammer modules.
Campaign: Homebrew loosely inspired by Greek Mythology (More info below)
Campaign info:
Type: Long Term
Basic Info:
Topróto, the maker of all in the universe, created four gods: Aeros, the god of the sky and weather; Láspia, the goddess of the earth; Hadopolis, the god of the oceans and storms; and Magnitus, the god of fire, in order to help watch over the newly formed world of Regoria. Each god was given a temple, which serves as their highest concentration of power. Regoria was a prosperous place where the inhabitants enjoyed a peaceful and prosperous life under the watchful eyes of the gods. Everyone was happy.
But this was not to last.
Hadopolis was constantly keeping the oceans and storms from destroying Regoria. As a result, he was prevented from seeing Láspia, his lover. Hadopolis grew jealous of the other gods, whom he believed to live a more lavish and easier life than he did. This jealousy eventually boiled over into hatred, and Hadopolis abandoned his post for the very first time.
Chaos erupted.
Regoria suffered a catastrophic series of floods and storms that forever changed the landscape of the world. All but a few select landmasses were destroyed during the chaos. Magnitus and Aeros fought against Hadopolis and Láspia, which only furthered the apocalyptic events of the world. Hadopolis and Láspia were defeated, and Topróto punished them severely. Hadopolis was stripped of his divine form and became the oceans, unable to use his powers or reach out to his lover. Láspia was imprisoned within the Great Aether, unable to use her powers or communicate with the outside world. Topróto put two councils of spirits in charge the exiled gods' former duties and temples and he then changed the placement of the gods' temples and put them in biomes directly contradicting their powers in order to curb their power to avoid such a catastrophic event ever again.
After the chaos, many new societies emerged. Some rulers believe that they could do better than the gods and seek to use the power of the Great Aether to become gods themselves. Others prefer to keep the new natural order. Now almost 3,000 years later, the fate of Regoria and its inhabitants hang in the balance. Will you heed the call, o adventurer?
