About the campaign:
First off i want to say that you do NOT need to have any knowledge of Warcraft to join. I will make sure you know all that is needed to understand what is happening.

I have loosely adapted the events of the World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King expansion into a D&D campaign. You will play as members of the Horde ariving in the Borean Tundra, and help your faction gain ground in the fight against the Lich King. You will fight his forces all over the frozen continent of Northrend, until you take the fight right to his doorstep as you raid Icecrown Citadel itself.
I've done my best to convert everything into a format befitting DnD, and while this campaign will probably still be fairly heavy with combat, i have also built in plenty of options for non-Combat solutions and roleplay.
And while the framework of the campaign is based on the Wrath of the Lich King storyline, i am not beholden to it, so your actions can have real influence and consequences, and I would be happy to build in personal quest and storylines for your characters where possible.

We will of course be using the Character rules from the latest DnD and WoW Crossover book, but I will not force you to take any of the class or subclass options. While WoW is limited in what it lets you take, and while I would encourage you to take one of the WoW inspired options, this is still DnD. And while things like Bards or Artificers may not be playable classes in WoW, they very much exist in the setting. So I am willing and able to make pretty much any class or subclass on DnDBeyond work for this campaign.
The only thing you will be limited on is the playable species.

About the DM:
I am a huge fantasy nerd, who has been playing DnD almost continuously for the last 6 years, and DMing for half that time. And I've been a fan of Warcraft since my childhood, so I am really excited about this campaign.
I am also queer and neurodivergent, and consider my table a safe space for all.

Requirements:
-Be above 18
-A decent microphone/headset
-an internet connection that can handle Discord VC and DnDBeyond maps
