Game: D&D 5e Group type: Face-to-face Experience: New Location/Timezone: Oxford, United Kingdom (will probably play in the Botley area)/GMT. Schedule: One player works a 9-5 Monday-Friday job, the other is currently unemployed so I don't know his schedule long term. I work a pub job, 2-4 days a week, with Friday and Saturday evenings being my main constant that I work. When I am free changes from week to week but so far since I started a few months ago I have yet to work a Sunday, so that should be a fairly safe bet. Roles sought: 1-4 Players Game style: New campaign playing the Lost Mine of Phandelver with new players, so looking to find that out, but I like to DM a mix of combat and story content, with some but limited dungeon crawling.
Hey guys, I'm a fairly new DM (I've run like three sessions of a campaign that kinda fizzled out) but somewhat experienced player and watcher of D&D content who is looking to start a new campaign for his two friends who have never played D&D. I'm going to start simple and classic with the Lost Mine of Phandelver module from 5e. No Homebrew for this, so it's ideal for new players, although you don't have to be a total newbie to play (but ideally if you haven't played Lost Mine that'd be ideal).
We are all men aged 22-24, which I mention in case you wouldn't be comfortable with that dynamic.
Zombie thread alert. My daughter tells me I'm almost sixty, I used to play AD&D when it came out, last played in Hong Kong a decade ago, now I'm in Oxford/Marston area and ready to play again this coming fall (September onwards), not sure I'll convince my wife to join, but I might try).
