I'm sure I'm not alone, but after discovering Critical Role last year I have completely fallen in love with the idea of D&D even though I've never played! My brother had a game going for which I created a couple character options (a human warlock, a high elf druid, a drow ranger, an aarakocra cleric, a tiefling necromancer & a half-elf paladin - once you start it's hard to stop!) i'd be up for playing any of them, whatever seemed to fit best) but they never really got together enough to play consistently.
Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Face-to-Face preferred or online in PST zone Experience: Totally new to D&D in general but I've read and researched a lot ;0) Location/Timezone: PST Availability: Sundays/Mondays all day or Tuesdays - Thursdays are best after 5:30ish Preferred role: Player Game style: Story/character driven, your typical stuff.

I live in LA County if you want to start a group. I'm not a DM, but we can see if this goes anywhere.
Depending on day and time I would also be interested in joining as a player. I live in Orange County.
Are you still looking to get a group together? I am willing to be a player or DM in the areas of the city that you mentioned.
