Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online (but face-to-face would be great, too) Experience: 3 years with 5E. Location/Timezone: Ohio Valley, EST Availability: I work nights, so times preferred would be a start time of anywhere between 9PM to 4AM EST Fridays and Saturdays. I go to bed around 10AM. Can push a start time no earlier than 7PM. Preferred role: Player Game style: Heavy on the roleplay. I enjoy combat, but don't need it every game to be happy. While I'm not a stickler for the rules and am fine with them being bent in certain situations, I prefer combat to be a little more firm with keeping to them. I'm cool with wild ideas for an attack, but if a player is constantly trying to gain extra attacks they don't have with bonus actions and such, it gets old real fast. I'm a big fan of the rule of cool, but not when it starts toeing the line of cheating. I enjoy laid-back groups who treat the story with respect but can have fun to the benefit of everyone.
Hey all, my name is Angie. I'm 37 years old and live in the Wheeling area of the Ohio Valley. Looking for a fun group with a good story to join and help shape the world our characters roam (as well as it shape us). While I only have three years experience with D&D (not counting the two games of 3.5 I played as I was completely lost the whole time), I have ~15 years of roleplaying experience, ranging from tabletop games (Werewolf: the Apocalypse) to forum/livejournal roleplay and World of Warcraft (Wyrmrest Accord RP server - Horde side).
Due to being a night shifter, it's a bit hard to find games locally when the stores they play in close around the time I'm getting up. It'd be nice to play with fellow 30+ year olds, but I'm cool with "adult" and older. I'm a big fan of Critical Role, so playing with fellow Critters would be fun, but also not required.
If you’re not too strict with a person’s age, you can count me in. Just note that I’m somewhat newish, but gradually improving. And I know the feeling of being a night shifter, it boring and also difficult in juggling time to do stuff. Even to find time to properly watch Critical Role, only been watching their past sessions.
