Hello! We are a group of 5 friends looking for a long-term relationship with a DM! :D

Our previous campaign unfortunately had to end when our DM ran into professional obligations. Based on our schedules, we are looking for a DM that can run sessions on Tuesdays at 6PM-PST/9PM-EST and go for 3-4 hours. We all have discord, good microphones, and are familiar with Roll20.

About us:

• We are a very active and social group who are really looking forward to being a part of your world. We love the roleplay aspect of D&D and want to focus on it, but also love a good combat encounter that really feels meaningful! We want combat to feel dangerous while still being able to stay in character when making combat decisions, even if they are not the most tactical.
• We’re really enjoying D&D 5th Edition would like to stick with it.
• We love high fantasy though we think creative license is awesome.
• We *really* get into character creation and ask a *lot* of questions to be sure our characters fit well into your world. We know this can be time consuming, so we hope you’re as excited to share your world with us as we are to hear about it! The more we put into it, the more we hope all of us, DM included, can get into the campaign!
• We enjoy homebrew and many of our players are interested in using a homebrew class. One of our group loves to work on these classes, and wants to work with you to make sure the content is a good fit for your world and feels manageable for you! He’s a professional game designer, and is happy to do most of the legwork involved to let you simply approve the classes! Or, if you prefer, he’ll take feedback and work closely with you on the content!
• We understand that life happens and sometimes we won’t be able to make sessions. We respect your time and if we have to miss any, we'll be sure to give the maximum notice possible so that you can plan ahead.

We recognize that it can be daunting to come DM for an already-established friend group, but no worries! We are a friendly group who love D&D and are looking for a long-term campaign to be as fun for you as it is for us! And as always, the DM's calls are the final word! To be sure that we’re the right fit for each other, we have a few requests:

• Battlemaps, even simple ones, just to help us understand what’s going on, especially for casters!
• The chance to work closely with the world you create to build up awesome character backstories!
• The ability to work with you to homebrew some subclasses and classes
• Playing on 5e because we like to stick to a system we already know!
• Playing Tuesday evenings (6PM PST/9PM EST) as unfortunately some of us can only make that time
• And most of all, someone who is willing to work with us and be a part of our group!
