Game: D&D 5e Group type: Face-to-face Experience: Wildly varied: < 1 year to "remembers the Red/Blue boxes" Location/Timezone: Calgary, Alberta, Canada region (Airdrie ) Schedule: Typically 19:00 - 22:00 MDT, Weekly, Wednesdays ( with occasional rescheduling to Saturdays, if possible, when life happens ) Roles sought: Players Game style: Gamist & Roleplaying styles - pretty laid back group. New campaign for 2019 - home-brew world incorporating Clockpunk elements ( High Fantasy magic melded with Renaissance-level technology ). Thiswould give you some idea of the kinds of things to expect - we will not be using this guide - more like something inspired by this.
Warning: DM is fond of variant rules, and homebrew rules/monsters/content! :p
Current group of 1 DM and ( now ) 4 players, looking for 1 ( possibly 2, so can accommodate couple ) additional player(s) for our group. Ages run from late 20s to mid 60s. Experience of players runs from < 1 year to 5+ years. DM remembers D&D Basic Edition ( but was out of RPGs for a few decades in the middle ).
Open to anyone in the greater Calgary region. Group currently is meeting in Airdrie, some sort of rotation to accommodate people outside of Airdrie might be worked out.
If potentially interested, drop me a private message to discuss.
