Game: D&D 5e Group type: Face-to-face Experience: Any! We will teach you how to play. Location: Stafford, VA Schedule: Third Saturday of every month from noon to 4 PM Roles sought: Player or DM Game style: Fun role-playing mixed with hack-n-slash
This group is for middle and high school students to learn and play D&D in a safe environment with caring adults and get together with other young people in our community. We emphasize teamwork, creativity, group interaction, and most of all, fun!
If you are an adult interested in being a DM for our group, let us know! We prefer to keep tables to four or five players. Having multiple leaders allows us to run several tables so everyone has a chance to participate.
I'm a Senior at UMW, graduated from Forge, and have been DMing for a year or so. I'd be interested in helping out. I live locally and have my Saturdays free.
I too wish too inquire for further details and harken to your reply. I am a senior at UMW and live in the Lake Arrowhead area. I have no experience with 5E and very limited with 3.5E.
It's been a couple years, and 2020 really put a damper on in-person gaming! But our group is running strong and back together in small settings (no more than 8 in a classroom - 6 players and and two adult DMs). We wear masks throughout the session, and spread out in the rooms. We register everyone for any potential contact tracing.
But we have fun. And laugh. And make connections! We teach new players about the game, and train the more seasoned players in the skills to keep playing. Are you a middle or high school student looking for a game? We're looking for you! We have enough adult DMs to run 3 separate rooms, so there is room for you! We're also always looking for other adults who love the game and want to help teach the next generation of gamers.
We play in Stafford, VA on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Interested? Let me know!
I'm local and going into my senior year of high school. I've never played a tabletop rpg before, but I'm very interested in trying and connecting with kind people into the hobby, so I'd love to hear more details about your group!
