Welcome to the World of Tamaria. A world where dwarfs and elves no longer interact with humans as much as they used to, instead choosing to hide away in pockets of wilderness.
The mistrust between Humans, dwarfs and elves came from a war fought thousands of years ago. Humans having as short a life as they do, don’t remember much from that time, but to others they have long memories and are slow to forgive.
Gnomes and Halflings still interact with and live alongside humans being similar in nature and looks despite the size difference.
Since the war magic has become uncommon, even forgotten in some parts of the world. It exists but is often met with fear or untrust.
Humans have survived using their faith on the gods for protection, and their own skill in crafts and numbers.
It is a dangerous land and outside of the major cities orcs and other monsters roam the countryside. Small farming villages are often attacked if not careful as Orcs and other monsters raid them for provisions or glory.
Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: New - I am a DM for 2 groups but looking to get into playing as a PC myself, only been into the hobby for a couple months. Played a couple sessions in a group as a PC but not enjoying the DM's style Location/Timezone: Perth time GMT+8 Availability: weeknights and weekends are fairly flexible. Fair warning I am a stepdad with full time work so can't pull all nighters but tend to be up fairly late by eastern standards. Preferred role: Player Game style: I really enjoy roleplay and combat equally but want both to shine. love to put on voices and figure out what to do as a team with different goals in mind. I am honestly interested in any kind of play and have lots of different character ideas to play with! DnD has been a part of my life for a very short time but has quickly consumed it!!
Hello. This seems very promising and I have a similar background when it comes to our introductions to Dnd. I've been playing for about a year and would love to get to know you more. If you want to talk more my discord is virgo#6769
Game: D&D 5e Group: Online. Utilizing foundry VTT & Discord. Experience: 6 Years of D&D. 3 years of DM'ing. Location/Timezone: Queensland/AEST +10. Game Time: Weekly Friday Game. 8pm-11pm AEST +10 Requirement 18+. Also request good mic,
Running a D&D Campaign on a Friday evening online grouping up around 7:30 pm Hard start at 8pm until 11:00pm.
This campaign will be focused on roleplay and combat at players discretion. Its set in a world of my own homebrew flair and D&D lore mixed through, Diplomacy and subterfuge will play a large role in this campaign with the party deciding its own path. It’s a HIGH magic and fantasy work with a mix of steampunk technology. If you have any questions please ask Happy to have new and old players to D&D.
If you have read this far and are interested in playing please message me on discord. Zeus#7474
Game: D&D 5e. Group: Online. Role: Player. Location/Timezone: Victoria (Central Goldfields), AEDT (UTC +11). Availability: 10am to 11pm (AEDT). Experience: 34 years, mostly just D&D.
Some additional info I thought relevant for considering me as a player:
Pronouns: He/him.
Resources: I have most of the content on this site with the following exceptions: Keys from the Golden Vault; Mordenkainen Presents: Monsters of the Multiverse; Spelljammer: Adventures in Space; Journeys through the Radiant Citadel; Critical Role: Call of the Netherdeep; Dragons of Stormwreck Isle.
Currently I'm not subscribed but would get a Master Tier Subscription if I joined a game in order to share my unlocked content.
I have a recent (Apple) computer with a decent camera and stable, high-speed internet access.
Setting: Would love a Dragonlance or Greyhawk game but am happy to play in Forgotten Realms or similar. Would consider Spelljammer or Eberron. I'm unfamiliar with other settings but if it's generally similar to the default D&D assumptions I'm game.
Playstyle: Although I prefer a more relaxed style of game I also like there to be clear and fair rules and rulings so that everyone operates on an even playing field with no surprises. I don't like evil characters, playing as or with them since I tend to assume that, as a group, we're at least trying to be the goodies. I try to make and play mechanically and thematically interesting (to me) characters but always with a bent toward being a team player.
Dealbreakers: Bigotry. If players are going to be making racist, sexist, ableist, transphobic, homophobic, etc. commentary as an accepted form of banter then I have no interest in being part of such a group. I don't expect perfection or want to police everyone in the group and am also not trying to imply I'm some sort of vainglorious, angelic being deigning to be amongst mere mortals, I just don't want to have to deal with a barrage of bigotry. And these days, I feel as if this is something I need to qualify before engaging with people.
Disclosure: I'm recently diagnosed ADHD and suspect other neurodivergent labels may apply. I mention this only because of the double-empathy issues associated with communication. For instance, most people wouldn't have listed all of the above in their LFG applications but I think differently to most people and believe everything I've stated is both relevant and necessary so as to get ahead of any potential miscommunication and misunderstandings.
Rules/Sources: Official content (exc Legacy Races), 18+
Synopsis: You have volunteered, for whatever reason, to join Spelljammer Academy: a shadowy enclave of spellcasters and swords-for-hire situated on the remote and mysterious island of Nimbral. This campaign takes the you to the stars and beyond, and there might be no coming back afterward!
What to expect:
Having a fun time on a reliable, consistent basis
New and/or inexperienced players welcome

Responsive out of game support – rules clarification, character creation & background etc

Duncan, I am at Forest Glen Sunshine coast looking for a game or group. Regards Daz
Do you still need player for your game?
Hi all,
I'm from Adelaide looking for a game online, as my IRL sessions keep getting cancelled due to that thing called life ^^;
New to playing online, but have been playing D&D for a while now.
Happy to play whatever character and campaign, but preferably a premade campaign as I have not played all of them yet :)
