Experience: Mostly new. I've never finished a full campaign but I've played in a cumulative 4 or 5 sessions, so I understand the very basics, I may just need refreshing on how stuff works in practice.
Location/Timezone: Central California / PST
Availability: Flexible, but generally 6PM-1OPM. I work retail, so my availability is tricky. Right now I'm fairly wide open as my schedule is light. But during busy weeks I'm guaranteed to be home and available by 6PM PST (I get off work at 2:45, usually home by 3 but delays happen). This changes during the holiday season because I typically switch to working nights for a month or two. If I don't have work the next morning I can go later than 10PM. Mondays and Thursdays are sometimes open, but I occasionally have to work nights those days and can't guarantee availability.
Preferred role: Player
Game style: Roleplay or casual. I've been doing forum-based text roleplay for a long time so it's the main draw for me. Combat sounds like it could be fun but it's not really the main draw.
Like I said in the title, I'm looking for groups that either comprised of LGBT+ or people that are friendly/comfortable with it, especially if they don't have an issue with trans people. I'd also prefer to play with other adults but it's not a hard requirement (there's some stuff I'm just not comfortable saying/roleplaying with minors present). Like I said, I'm fairly new to the game. I've played enough on Roll20 to get the very basic stuff, but haven't been able to find a session that lasted yet. I may be a bit awkward at first with strangers, but give me a couple sessions and I should get comfortable. I've got a handful of characters so far, and I'm usually willing to swap out which one I use depending on party balance needs. I generally enjoy working with the DM to integrate my character into the setting, too, if they're up to it.
