Summary

Silence fills the halls of the Arcane college known as the Mapheus University. The murder of a prominent professor, Arch Arcanist Eriias Menlor, has shocked the inhabitants of the University to their core. The magical campus has always served as a neutral refuge where any person of any race or creed could come study and join in the like minded pursuit of knowledge. Arch Arcanist Eriias Menlor was the world’s greatest expert in regards to alchemy. No one is certain who killed him or why. Perhaps the murderer had a vendetta against Menlor because they were a victim of one of Menlor’s toxic concoctions, or perhaps Menlor had a great project in the works that inspired jealousy in a colleague. For now, only one thing is certain: the Mapheus University is not the safe haven it once was.

Overview

Someone has killed a powerful wizard. It's up to the party to find out who and bring them to justice. This campaign is being ran side by side with 3 other campaigns in the same setting. There will be heavy amounts of roleplay and storytelling. Combat will be about 35% of the campaign, with an agreement between the players and DM that combat should be meaningful rather than expected. I am currently looking for 2 players to fill slots. This crawl will be 13th level and is the final chapter in a meta narrative that has stretched 3 campaigns and over a 100 episodes. Every game will be live streamed. The Ilderon Tales Vision

The Ilderon Tales is a community of some 30+ players and dungeon masters who have come together to embrace the story telling aspect of 5e dnd. The aim of the Ilderon Tales is to create an environment where interesting fantasy tales can be created and shared with others. This comes with three agreements we have with each other:

1. Commitment to the story: The driving aspect of the Ilderon Tales is the story. By joining and playing, understand there is a commitment to telling a tale that is worth someone’s time and is interesting or moving to experience or listen to.
2. Playing in the campaign means you will create & experience the story: Stories inherently involve conflict. Conflict is hard and might not be fun as you’re going through it, but looking back the experience becomes more worthwhile because of the conflict.
3. We are a community: Don’t be afraid to talk or ask questions. If you have problems with the admin or the dungeon master, speak up and voice them. Feedback only ignites improvement.

Session Information

This game is completely free to play, all the campaigns and games I run are. Tipping is encouraged but not expected. Saturday at 6:30pm CDT. Discussing character creation, party composition, and scheduling. We currently have 4 players, and we are looking for 1 more players in total.

Favourite part of D&D - Finding new friends and meeting people I wouldn't normally get a chance to.  I tend to be an outgoing person, I meeting people.  I also love RP, as I've been involved in text based RP for years, and RP in general.  D&D is a love for me.  Also as I'm queer, just finding other queer people and/or finding the welcoming atmosphere that D&D can provide.
