Greetings! I'm back after several years' worth of absence from the game, and I'm wondering if an open group this evening could use an extra. Thanks for your consideration, and sorry for the spontaneity that's actually super short notice. (LOL.)
Hello! And cool! Obviously it is past Thursday night (ha), but it would be fun to recruit some folks and set a game up. I am still working to re-learn the rules, but my first games were in 1997, so I've got a fair amount of exposure and experience and hopefully it won't take long to feel like it's all second nature again.
Splendid! I can start up a more formal, organized effort within a few weeks, unless another person wishes to GM! I’ll have mainly nights free starting next month.
I'd be interested in joining an online campaign as a player... I have all Tuesday and Thursday afternoons free on EST... Just tell the preferred method of campaign communication...
Hi! Yes, 5th, with some GM interpretation, of course. (Trying to re-learn the rules and gameplay!) Thank you so much. Afternoons in the USA? Western / Eastern? Just checking!
The three characters I have created, link w/ brief summary of background and abilities all at level one.
Varen Moondance - Is a Knight of the Order of Weavers of the Bladesong. An orphan who was raised by his trainer/savior and now wanders the countryside to stop any threats he comes across... High (Moon) Elf Fighter. (DPS/well-rounded fighter/Adventurer). Alignment CG
Barnan Stormblade - Is a Privateer (Pirate) who drew too much heat from one of the opposing Navies and is a worshipper of Beshaba and Umberlee (not out of fear but sincerely worships them)... Often views himself as a bringer of misfortune to all who cross his path... Half-Elf Bard. (DPS/Support/Debuffer/Deceiver/Intimidator). Alignment CN/CE
Wrenn Spellshadow - Is an Urchin whose family was killed when he was young and hid from his family's killers among the streets of a nearby human city, catching a lucky break he stole a small series of magic theory books written by a Gnomish Illusionist... he later sold the volumes for 10gp after studying them... He now steals from corrupt nobles w/ the help of his pet rat Whiskers. Gnome Rogue. (DPS/Scout/Support). Alignment CG
P.S. the two Owl familiars are future familiars that will be activated when they gain access to the spells.
P.P.S. All characters are made according to the Adventurers League Guidelines of 2018 and all stats are done through Point Buy...
I kept their backgrounds vague enough that they could be worked into a storyline easily enough while still having interesting (yet simple) plot hooks for the DM to work w/.
Note to electricity: The above characters are just characters I have already made and am quite fond of... If you have a very different type of storyline in mind send me a campaign primer and I'll try to make a character that fits the story if that would be easier...
So we got 3 players thats kinda good for a nice campaign. Electricity whenever you are ready let me know. I could get a discord server up for us too if you want

Sure I could. I am looming to be a player

Yeah. If you need a player that would be great. Most my nights are free and my weekends are normally too.

I don't have a discord but I can make one if needed but we should be able to campaign off of this site... Also to clarify this is 5th edition correct?
I have three level-1 characters that I used the Adventurer League Character Creation Rules...

PS, it may be a while before I am able to execute a full campaign as a GM, as mentioned above :)
Fully aware that you stated that it may take some time to set up and EST (Eastern Standard Time)
Sounds good to me.
It might be apparent that I meant no disrespect.
Thanks for your patience.

Couple of questions:
1) What is the timezone/ time your looking to play at?
2) If you are the DM what type of game would it be? (Combat, roleplaying, 60-40)?
