My friends and I are looking for a DM to play with. We did a custom short game a few months ago with a ex-friend as the DM, so we know a little bit. In total there is 4 of us, all in our 20s. We are in the Tampa, FL area so the time zone is EST. I think right now we were hoping to do everything on thursday nights but we can always try and work around if need be. Also we can use Discord for comunication. If you need more information just ask.
Hello There, Im pulling a Campaign together. It's mainly RP focus, but it has it's good combat moments. I share your time zones. My DIscord is SilverTouge#6804
It's mainly in the sword coast, (don't worry if you don't know what that is) And the first mission is you being hired to clear out a dungeon. A dungeon that im hoping will send you to Lvl2 and introduce you to my play style. SO basically home brew. I hope we get to play together.
Hmmm. I currently do not have the resources to run a online game with discord and other things. But if you guys are willing to do a Play by Post game on these forums I think I could find the time to run one for your group.
It would be a Lost Mines of Phandelver campaign which is good for four players and great for newer players. I’m setting up a lost mines campaign I’m starting for some friends locally so I could see it as a good experience for me too, giving me a chance to test the waters and not being pressured at a face to face type of situation where I have to improvise on the spot because of the unexpected that always happens.
I'm an experienced DM in the Tampa area (I live in the Brandon/north Riverview area) and my old group just broke up due to a member moving. I strongly prefer in-person, and am willing to host if needed. Thursday nights work for me especially if it's relatively close by.
I run 5e in a custom setting, called Dreams of Hope. https://www.admiralbenbo.org is the site I made for it--there are character creation guides, information about the setting, and the front page has a few of the "open requests" (ie campaign seeds). I don't run fixed plots--the seed is just to get people started and then wherever it goes, it goes.
I'm totally open to new players--I run a D&D club at the school I teach at and so constantly have new players and have lots of experience teaching people to play. I have extra books, minis, dice, etc I'm happy to share.
Let me know if you're interested!

Thanks!
What kind of adventure are you looking for? more hack and slash focused, or RP?
Right now we are really open to anything I think. Speaking for myself I'm down for anything to get more experience playing.
