So I posted this on reddit as well, but still haven't found all my perfect matches yet so I thought I'd try here as well. Are a female who is new or relatively new to the game? Then this may just be the group for you! To save you some time, this group is only accepting females, there will be no exceptions to this. You might ask why, and the answer is simply that I have been in back to back all boy but me groups for the last 3 years and frankly I'd like to DM for some girls who want their shot.
I am currently on the hunt for 3-4 female players who are interested in heavy Roleplay, world building, and deep characters that evolve over time. If you’re looking for a dungeon crawl, this is not the ad for you. While I have an outline of the story we’re going to tell together, a lot will be drawn from backstories and the players that come to the table. I want this to be as interactive and inclusive as I can make it, your actions and choices will have consequences to the best of my abilities.
That being said, a few things of note. This group is LGBT friendly, experience does not matter since I haven’t been DMing that long and welcome anyone who’s willing to try, and will not tolerate any sort of overpowering or controlling of the group. This group will also not be starting for a little while as we have planning, character building, and a few session 0 things to work out. So if you’re looking for something immediate this probably won’t work either.
This campaign will take place in an expanded Faerun, and will center around your party attempting to stop an ancient evil from rising. You’ll need allies, resources, and as much power as you can muster. Besides this overarching story, you’ll also be able to go through side missions of your choosing. The way you achieve things is entirely up to you. I’m happy to answer any and all questions if you send them my way.
Lastly, I’d like a few things from you if you’re interested. If these things aren’t all included you will automatically not be considered, i need to filter things down as much as I can. So! I’ll need what to call you, pronouns, a rough age if not exact, your experience with dungeons and dragons, what you like most in a game, and a character idea whether you end up using that one or not. Hope to hear from you soon!
I would be interested in trying this out! My name is Kat, and I'm a 19-year-old girl (she/her) who has been interested in DnD for quite a while now. Unfortunately, I never got the chance to play and my knowledge of the game isn't the most advanced. Meaning yes, most of my knowledge comes from internet osmosis. However, I am eager to learn and ready to dip my toes in the water with the right group!
Creating characters has always been a passion of mine. I love fleshing out personalities and backstories more than I care to say. I'm not shy to admit that I'm more drawn to casual DnD campaigns, but with enough support and practice I believe I could adjust to more serious plotlines. Granted, as long as some tomfoolery is allowed. It is allowed, right?
I have countless character ideas, so I will have no trouble creating one that fits the scenario. As of late, I have been partial to the idea of a paladin woman. Righteous, noble-hearted, and dumb as a brick. A bit typical, but there's always room for improvement.
Hello! My name is Gwen and I go with she/her pronouns! I'm 19 and I have been dming for years but I have only played as a player in really one other game before (the other games I tired to form kinda flopped ;w;)
I am a definite heavier role player and would love to play a bard or sorcerer! But I am open to an class pretty much. To me it's not really about the class itself it's more about what kind of a character you can create around it you know?
My idea I have right now is a glamour bard that is more of a wandering type. I picture her travelling from place to place never really wanting to stay still for too long, whose personality is more "fluffy" in a scene. Not really an airhead or anything just kinda a fool that loves people and like pulling the occasional prank! Just a little base pitch haha!
Hiya. My name is Victoria, (Victoria, Vic, Tori) and I am 25 years old (She/her). I have been into D&D for a few years now and have played a few campaigns over the last 4-5 years. They have been in all boys but me groups. Playing in an all-female group though sounds like it could be a dream. What I like in a game is simple, good roleplay, the ability to explore the world, and to get to know the people and the stories.
As an amateur writer and artist, I am always creating characters and lately, I have been using the books of D&D as a base to create characters and stories. It has become a fun hobby for me and I am creating a new character at least once every other day. Converting them to D&D would be pretty easy as well.
Lately, I have been working on a character who is the daughter of " Villians " who doesn't want to follow them down that path. Being the kid of an evil family though is not the easiest thing the world though. The people who know her see her and treat her like she herself is a villain. That treatment made her develop a coldness to the world, to build a wall around her, and also a temper.
If that character doesn't work for whatever reason I have so many more and can create anything to fit the group or the story better.
Raised by a first edition dm but started playing last year. Favourite thing in a game is definitely npc interactions and character development! Big bard fan but open to any class! I don't have any solid character plans rn, it's all very up in the air so I'd be happy to adapt any loose concepts to fit the party and the setting!

Hi my name is maria I'm 13years old(she/her) I have played a few games of d&d with me and 2 other friends so I know quite little . My favorite thing about the game is the ability to use your imagination instead of having everything set in stone. My character is called Zora she is a wood elf she is a sorcerer she was born to a single mother so she has always been shockingly smart and mature for her age.when she was 16 years old her closest friend row went missing and was found dead. Zora vowed the help those she can in what ever way possible. I hope this is all the info you need please tell me if you need more
Heya! Im Rae, Im 17 years old, and I have very little experience with DnD, but know a lot of people who have played it before, and am very interested in playing! I have this character I've been wanting to use for a long time, and I would love to play with you all! My characters name is Dormeia, and she is a Tiefling Druid.
To dull down her backstory, her human mother passed away to an illness when she was 5, leaving her tiefling father to care for her, but didnt do too good of a job (meaning he went crazy and threw her out). Once she was 7, she was raised by two Firbolgs, and lived in a new town with them where she met Dameon, her first love, when she was 18. Unfortunately, the town was burnt down by some dragons, and everyone was killed, except Dormeia (since shes fire resistant). Instead of getting revenge for her loss, she went into isolation to make sure she doesnt get hurt again, still wearing the jewelry and silver wedding ring Dameon had given her as gifts (since they were supposed to get married soon).
I truly hope I could get a chance to play with you! I think it would be a great experirence for me! Thanks!
Hey! I'm Carrie (She/her) and i'm 28, I've only recently gotten into D&D, but i love it. I've done about 6 sessions with a group of co-workers, and i cant get enough XD. I love the story element of D&D, I've always loved writing, and loved bouncing ideas off of people. I've had this idea for a character running around in my head for a bit. I want to play a fallen Aasimar Paladin. Basically her family has been the top captains/generals/guards of her town for generations, and shes always been proud of that and excited to continue that. But one day she wakes up and doesn't know where she is, and she's miles away from home, and once she gets back to the town, its been leveled, and everyone's been slaughtered and she is now Fallen. She realizes she's missing months of time and no one can tell her what happened. One day the town was just destroyed. She's touched by a god, who finally tells her her town, her people, her family were slain by this horrible evil Demon/Devil and they will grant her the power to avenge them. So she goes on a quest to find this demon/devil and avenge her family and hopefully bring herself back to the light.
Now my thought for this would have to kinda be homebrewed a bit I think, because I kind of have an idea that the God that comes to her, is actually a Demon/Devil masquerading as a god and sending her after a real god or something, and that Demon/Devil had turned her fallen and used her to slay the town. I'm not sure how that would work, because I know a demon giving powers to someone would be a Warlock, but I want her unaware of what is happening so she's a Paladin because thats what she thinks she is.
Either way I'm down to work on this with a DM who wants to take this on and with a group that loves the roleplaying part of it as well. :)
Hiya! I'm Sarah, 18, and I have literally always wanted to try D&D. I don't have any experience at all, but I love to learn! I have a character made, but I am totally willing to make a new one to better suit the party and the needs of the campaign. I have discord and can get any other programs needed to participate. I love to be immersed into roleplay and fantasy, so this sounds awesome!
I would absolutely love to try and be a part of this, especially since it won't be a campaign dominated by men.
Hey, my name is Fia, she/her pronouns, early 30s. I've been playing D&D for a couple of years (LMoP and just now finishing up on PotA), but my current group can only meet once a month and I want more D&D in my life! Furthermore, my current group is a little more combat oriented and I'd love the opportunity to do some more foreplay. I can't imagine anything more awesome than getting that with a group of ladies!
As for a character idea, off the top of my head I'd love to play a monk or a paladin next. I'm not really fussed about which race, many of them seem fun. My current character is a badass, seasoned eldritch knight, so I'd like to play something a little more dexterity based and perhaps with a more carefree background (less brooding and trauma).
Not sure if you're still looking for players (but if you are: PM me!) and also wondering which timezone this would be played in? I'm UTC+2.
my name is Lena (25) and Im quite new to D&D. i just love RPing and slow character development! i love building stories together with the group and the DM, for example writing a backstory and leaving a lot of open strings for the DM to use or whatever. I just think its amazing that D&D allows us to make stories that are never predictable but always enjoyable. i kinda have fallen in love with the druid class and half-orcs but im open to play anything that benefits the team.
im pretty down-to-earth and a huge nerd. i love metal and rock music and am part of the LGBTQ+ community; i hope this was enough info sorry if it was too much im just really excited about this group and hope to get it :) anyway, have a great day everyone!
I suppose I'll pile on despite the wonderful number of replies because this sounds like it's going to be an amazing campaign no matter who ends up playing and I would love to be a part of an all female group at some point in my D&D career. Hi all! My name is Mystery and I'm 24 years old. She/her/hers or They/them/theirs pronouns, either are more than fine by me. I'm an English major in my senior year of college, and an aspiring fantasy book writer in the free time school and work don't steal away from me. I've been playing D&D online for more than year now and have recently begun to DM a weekly irl game for a group college friends. We just wrapped up Lost Mines of Phandelver and are moving on to Hoard of the Dragon Queen next. My only regret being that I didn't get into this game sooner in life. I'm a huge fan of the storytelling and world building aspects of D&D and would love nothing more than to find a group truly looking to build a world and story from the ground up with. An all girl group would be the icing on the cake given that most of my experience playing (most of the play experience encountered by many of the people posting here in fact) has been with all male groups.
As far as characters go, I have waaaay too many ideas for my own good but the one I'm feeling most pulled to right now is a variant human of the warlock or wizard class. She's the sort of person who, despite her humble upbringing as a farmer's daughter always dreamed of learning magic and becoming powerful enough to lift her family out of poverty and give back to her community. Unfortunately she was only able to go about this indirectly due to monetary limitations and only after witnessing a terrible act of dark magic was she able to begin learning any herself. She's got the hardened veneer of a lifelong customer service representative about her, a pragmatic view of the world but a kind heart beneath all the cynicism and rough edges. If I do go warlock it'll definitely be the sort of agreement she would give up her left arm to get out of and even the wizard class would come with some fun plot hooks attached given her history. Definitely looking forward to getting involved in this if it's the right fit. Wishing yous good luck even if it's not, this is gonna be an awesome campaign!

Viaya Morbrew - Imela: The Adventure Begins - High Elf/Rogue (Level 1)
i am a new player to DnD only played a little bit before but have been listening to a good amount of podcasts and doing character building. I absolutely love the crazy stories and freedom of choice you get when playing, and all the amazing charcter moments you get with other people
For character i tried a mage my first time playing and took a long time to not be confused by everything. so i want to try a melee character, not sure if ill use my lovable barbarian or make another character. but id absolutely love to join!
I've been interested in D&D for some time but never managed to get into it. An old face to face group i was in sadly disbanded due to us drifting apart before we could even arrange to start our first session. I would love to finally get into it although I have barely any knowledge or experience, the furthest I get is creating a character. I love world building and being able to have characters develop friendships and trust with each other over time.
I have 1 character who is a Halfling Wizard who I really wanna use for my first time, but obviously if I need to make a new one then I will. She loves to help people and is very jovial and she has the alchemists supplies and herbalism kit for her tools.
I love to be supporting characters more so than offensive characters. I love stories that progress overtime and that interactions are made in order to develop a character into something more than what they started as.
Sounds like this party is already full, but I might as well add myself to the list. I'm Liv, I am very new to DnD and would very much enjoy a campaign focused more on RP. This sounds very fun, and I would be interested in starting a campaign with others who are interested in that aren't getting into this one. (I can't DM though)
Hi there! It seems as though a lot of people are interested in joining this game which is very exciting. My name is Natasha and I am still relatively new to D&D. I have played in the past but both campaigns I was in did not last as long as I'd hope they would. I would really like the chance to play in a new campaign where I could really allow my character to grow over time. If there is any room, I would definitely be interested in joining.
Hello there! I'm Campbell. 18 and she/her. I know this thread has quite a lot of people already posted and it's probably full but I figured you never know, so why not?
My experience with DnD is pretty limited and I've played before but I definitely consider myself a newbie to the game. I have mostly played casual games but I want to get better at roleplaying more seriously! I love creating characters and writing backstories and I'm up for playing just about anything! Right now the druid class intrigues me but mostly because I just love that animal-loving soft character trope that can also be a badass! I'm really up for anything though since I'm so new to the game!
Anyway that's all from me I just thought this sounded like a great campaign to jump into! Thanks!!

Thanks!!
